Customer Service

Position: Director of Customer Service

Worksite: 39611 Eureka Drive, Newark, CA 94560

Position Duties:

Responsible for overseeing quality assurance, stockroom, shipping and receiving departments. Managing finished goods inventory, stocking programs and consignments. Assisting with the inbound and outbound flow of goods to ensure for compliance and operational standards. Acting as the main point of contact for the relationship management for 3PL (Third Party Logistics). Conferring with other Department Managers, customers, and other representatives in planning, scheduling, coordinating, and directing the Quality Control Program in conformance with the Quality Policy, customer requirements, engineering specifications and production schedules. Responsible for developing, implementing and controlling the Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2008). Leading software implementation (ERP, shipping software and additional applications). Working with the IT department in solving software issues. Assisting Quality Assurance Manager to assure production of finished products which will meet the quality specifications and standards in the most cost effective manner. Analyzing and interpret quality data using Six Sigma tools. Utilizing the 8 Steps Global Problem Solving (8-D) problem-solving process to tackle quality issues. Improving manufacturing process by utilizing Lean Manufacturing concepts. Leading Auditor for all external/internal audits and validate systems, establish processes, and prepare reports for performance. Reviewing all complaints, CAPA's (Corrective and preventive action), MRB's(Material Review Board), warranty claims, etc., received from customers for the purpose of determining where emphasis should be placed at the plant to prevent recurrence. Assisting with supplier quality evaluations to improve supplier performance. Managing agencies compliance (ISO, UL/CSA, Fire Department, Union Sanitary District and Bay Area Air Quality Management District). Monitoring Employee and Facility Safety.

REQUIREMENTS:

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely-related field of concentration plus 2 year in job offered or QA / Customer Service Manager- related occupation. Education or Experience must include: 1) Utilizing six sigma and statistical tools; 2) Analyzing work force utilization, facility layout and product travelers to determine efficient utilization of workers and equipment; 3) Overseeing Lean Manufacturing Initiatives; 4) Providing Customer Service Representatives with coaching and ongoing development; 5) Reviewing functionality, efficiency and cost effectiveness of company's non-manufacturing processes and procedures and 6) Achieving performance objectives from initial action plans through implementation, auditing quality standards, resolving problems, determining system improvements and implementing change.

Summary:
We seek an experienced, high-caliber Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our customer support / inside sales team. CSRs are the primary internal point-of-contact for our customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
The successful CSR candidate will have at least an Associate Arts degree (AA) from an accredited two-year college or technical school, as well as six months or more CSR-related experience and training. Experience in the converting industry (custom label manufacturing) will receive high-priority consideration. Must be computer literate (Macintosh preferred), especially in Word and Excel, and exhibit language aptitude, basic math skills and reasoning ability commensurate with the requirements of the position.

Sales

Position: Outside Sales Representative
Location: Newark, CA

Summary:
We're looking for a committed, self-motivated Outside Sales Representative with a successful track record. Based in Fremont, California, the Sales Rep is responsible for maximizing market penetration of the company's label, overlay panel, nameplate, and component products in the medical and electronics industries and developing current and prospective accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
At least 5 years of related experience with a provable track record selling to major medical, electronics, or other high-technology accounts. Experience selling custom overlays and labels a plus. College-educated self-starter and strategic thinker. Strong relationship-building, presentation, and problem-solving skills; professional demeanor. Fluency with PowerPoint, Excel and Word a strong plus.
